TFP applied to Narcissistic Personality Disorder

Description

General Objectives:

The course is aimed at those interested in the theory and treatment of Personality Disorders in general, as well as those interested in becoming certified psychotherapists by the ISTFP in Transference Focused Psychotherapy.

Attendees will learn and become familiar with Transference Focused Psychotherapy applied to the treatment of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, through theoretical classes, videos and clinical examples of cases with prior informed written authorization from patients or recommended sources with prior authorization from their original authors chosen by the faculty.

Reading the suggested manual in its entirety and optional texts is also recommended. At the end of the course, the student will be able to know how to evaluate personality organization, how to identify borderline personality organization based on an understanding of identity diffusion syndrome, identify its manifestations and derived problems, as well as knowledge of the application in clinical practice of TFP technique in Narcissistic Disorder.
