Description
TFP in minors.
What is different?
Usual handling difficulties. Challenges and differential elements regarding work with adults Theory and practice TFP as an integrated element in the work in hospitalization units, day hospitals, group approaches. Theoretical postulates of the TFP as tools for the understanding of collective phenomena and large groups.

Fundamental bibliography:
Transference-focused psychotherapy. Yeomans, Clarkin, Kernberg. Descle de Brouwer. Bilbao 2016. Caligor, Kernberg, Clarkin, Yeomans. Psychodynamic therapy for personality pathology. Desclée de Brower. Bilbao 2020 A large bibliography will also be used in the form of articles and book chapters. It is very convenient for the student to be able to read texts in English.
Admission Criteria:
Psychiatrists and Clinical Psychologists who have experience working with patients with Personality Disorders (especially BPD) and are interested in their psychotherapeutic approach. The student must be able to put this technique into practice in their daily activity and present cases in supervision sessions. Although it may be beneficial for the student to have prior knowledge of psychoanalytic theory, this is not essential.
Accreditation:
After completing the theoretical training, the student receives a certificate of it, issued by the OMIE Foundation and the TFP-Bilbao and TFP-Murcia groups. The granting of credits will be processed by the Basque Council for Continuing Education for Health Professions.
After completing a period of approximately two years of case supervision, students can apply for accreditation as a TFP Therapist from the ISTFP (International Society of Transference Focused Psychotherapy) by passing the corresponding evaluation by the ISTFP Training Commission. Information:
Cost: A payment of 1,750 euros will be made, divided into three installments, 750 for registration and 2 payments of 500 and which will correspond to the theoretical program. Once the supervision begins, the cost thereof will be paid monthly by dividing the amount (€150 for each 90-minute session) among the members of the group (4 or 5 students).
