Annual Introductory Course in TFP – 2026
This programme provides comprehensive training in the theoretical and technical principles of Transference-Focused Psychotherapy (TFP) for treating personality disorders. The course fulfils the 63-hour training requirement for ISTFP Level C (Therapist) certification.
Adopting a theoretical-practical approach, the curriculum covers structural diagnosis (including the STIPO-R and Structural Interview) and the advanced application of TFP strategies, tactics and interpretive techniques. The course also delves into borderline and narcissistic pathology, as well as specific applications relating to adolescents, eating disorders and healthcare settings. Training is consolidated through clinical supervision of cases presented by students.
