Description
Following four training modules delivered by Prof. Louis Diguer, Psyclimède is offering a Q&A session open to anyone wishing to learn more about this therapeutic approach. The session is designed as an interactive exchange between Prof. Diguer and participants. It is intended both for mental health professionals discovering TFP for the first time and for training module participants wishing to deepen their understanding of certain theoretical or clinical points.
The session will unfold in two parts. An introductory first part will allow Prof. Diguer to present the fundamental principles of TFP: its theoretical framework grounded in Kernberg’s object relations theory, its main clinical indications (borderline and narcissistic personality disorders and other low-level personality organizations), and its technical distinctions relative to other psychodynamic approaches. A longer second part will be entirely devoted to participants’ questions. Questions may address theoretical, clinical, or practical aspects of TFP, particularly the themes covered across the four modules: diagnostic assessment, the therapeutic contract, analysis of transference and countertransference, work with narcissistic pathology, and end-of-treatment issues. Participants wishing to submit a question in advance are invited to do so at the time of registration.
